My Story

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing upon a variety of evidence-based modalities to best suit each individuals needs. I believe in a holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and emotions. Key modalities I utilize include Somatic Therapy, recognizing the deep connection between our bodies and our emotional experiences. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (Parts Work), which views the self as a system of interconnected parts, each with its own unique perspectives and intentions. Additionally, I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
emphasizing mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I work with adults (18+) of all genders, addressing a wide range of issues, including depression and anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, work life balance, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress management, perfectionism, and burnout.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lunaapeewak peoples who have longstanding relationships to the land, water and region of southwestern Ontario. The local First Nation communities of this area include Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee-Delaware Nation. Additionally,  there is a growing urban Indigenous population who make the City of London home. We value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations of Turtle Island (North America).
